PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE Annandale Hotel, 17 Parramatta Rd (Cnr Trafalgar St), Camperdown 7:30PM - $Gold Coin Donation The 1974 Cult Classic which was released in Australia, coupled with The Rocky Horror Picture Show, as a late-night/Drive-In double feature. Largely ignored by the press, the film is pre-glam-rock scathing comment on the recording and artist management industries. Directed by thriller-auteur Brian DePalma, it tells the story of a composer who will do anything to have his Pop Cantata (based on the story of Faust) sung by the right voice.
